#FossilFriday Crinoid stems in the facing stone of the W.B. Samson cafe, Oslo, comprising Silurian limestone of the Braksøoya Formation from Brevik Quarry, Telemark.
Any ideas about the identity of this pavement fossil from near Tower Bridge, London? The rock is Carboniferous Carlow Blue Limestone from Ireland, which is full of crinoid stems. Indeed this could be a crinoid but the long spine-like processes are weird. @pavementgeology.bsky.social
