I particularly like that Amazon is advertising the release of M. John Harrison's 'The End of Everything' as 'arriving 3 days before father's day.' The ideal gift if you want to communicate a sense of queasy, mystifying post-apocalypticism in your familial relationships.
God forbid he be seen to do something substantive.
Okay, how did I just completely miss that The War Between The Land And The Sea was a DW thing? How did I basically miss knowing about it entirely? Am I just a bad nerd?
Also how did my children not inform me? Do young people have no sense of their responsibility to keep their parents tethered to the real world?
