Peak time instead of 24hr bus priority is such a "I've no idea about what I'm talking about and haven't given this more than 2 seconds of thought" issue.
Sadly it's very widespread and at the local level found in most if not all parties.

Ludicrous policy. Buses are used by millions of people every day. This will make all their lives harder.
