Peak time instead of 24hr bus priority is such a "I've no idea about what I'm talking about and haven't given this more than 2 seconds of thought" issue. Sadly it's very widespread and at the local level found in most if not all parties.
Eh? They could have just looked at the reaction to sunak binning much of it. The British public love to grumble about stuff costing lots/overrunning, but they dislike it vastly more when that thing is abandoned.

Seeing a few conclusions being drawn, including extrapolating out things like gain/loss rates, when we've not even had a quarter of seat declarations yet. Much too early to get beyond the broadest of strokes, especially as early declarations are by no means representative of all contests.
