Frees up an international slot of Dozzell and a U-22 slot. This gives flexibility for #DCU to swap to the 3-3 model and sign a DP or sign another U-22 player.
Contract would probably be a big sticking point here in any trade. Actually might be a pretty good chance by waiving him there is a bit of a bidding war so more of his contract comes off #DCU's books. Team can buy him out assuming they haven't already used their 2 buy outs already...
As someone who is first and foremost a DCU fan, these things all bum me out to a degree and make me wish for just 50% of the Spirit aura and vibes for DCU. But being in the stands to feel the positive energy was so refreshing and reminds me why I have cared so much about soccer in the past. -J
