Dylan Alverson, owner of Post Modern Times cafe in Minneapolis, stopped charging for food in order to stop paying sales taxes to protest government actions. Surprisingly, the restaurant is thriving, even when 40-50% of the customers don’t pay for their food. 🎁🔗
I often hear people say that we need to include the Global South in CO₂ removal (CDR). I disagree. CDR is waste management and a bummer. Rich countries created this CO₂ mess and it’s our responsibility to clean it up. The Global South shouldn’t be burdened with this task.
