Wild thing about all this is I was in hypovolemic shock & metabolic acidosis but I was compensating so my vitals were normal (occult shock.) This meant it took 7 hours from my 000 call to get fluids and I would be dead if I didn’t. My lips were blue!!!! I couldn’t walk or talk properly!
