this is a polished version of the speedrun shooter with quake-inspired bunnyhopping that i made for a 48-hour game jam a while back.

mari but they're the secret non-canon joke route in a visual novel
you're required to kill them to enter the true ending route. curiously, the developers let you kill them off within the first interaction you have with them, making their route unnecessary if you're going for the true ending. for this reason, most players opt to skip their route.
SPOILER WARNING
the way mari's route ends is so abrupt. you can really tell development resources were tight. no wonder they're such an unpopular character!
