Big congrats to Jesse Dangerfield and team on our new paper! We’ve developed a first-in-class chemical probe giving new insight into calcium regulation and opening the door to longer-acting therapies for autosomal dominant hypocalcemia (ADH), a rare disorder disrupting calcium balance. #CaSR #GPCR
Not all science is big experiments - sometimes it’s fixing the little things that keep us going. When our benchtop centrifuge broke down, my partner’s tools, patience, and know-how got us back on track. Grateful for the support that keeps both the lab (and me) spinning. 💜
👟 35 km = a “casual stroll” said no one ever. Our lab is braving The Bloody Long Walk to fight mitochondrial disease. Think 45,000 steps powered by snacks, stubbornness, and science.

Dropping off sequencing has never been so dino-tastic! 🦖 Thanks @Plasmidsaurus for the dino-mite drop box - today’s officially roarsome!
🏅 Lab Olympics 2025:
From a fun idea to a real tradition, this year we’ve hit a record 6 teams in the winter marquee at MIPS! Science is serious, but these moments of connection, laughter, and (slightly) fierce competition keep us going. Here’s to teamwork and the coveted winner’s button!
