:Literally anyone who has spent any real time on the Internet: This is *such* a fucking terrible idea. On SO MANY LEVELS, it's a literal layer cake of *shit*
I know I say this ALL the time but when I let people reply to me who don't at least have to go to my profile and click follow to reply, I OFTEN ran into people who straight up say with their full chest that kids dying or suffering is Good if it will Teach Their Parents A Lesson.
Way too many sensitive caring people with progressive politics will straight up say that as the property of bigoted parents, children like the child I was, trapped in a cult with my abusers, deserve to die before they're ever given a taste of choice.
There is an awful trend of "good person" identity wars going on in (white) leftist circles that doesn't help anyone. My story differs, but feeling too "impure" to attend protests bc of family members is just so wrong. It should never be about YOU being a good person, but the CAUSE you stand in for

I actually have a harder time trusting ppl on the (US, which is to say including many centrists) left who just inherited their politics bc they seem less prone to critical thought than those who overcame ingrained beliefs to move left
