i would go further and say that this is pretty awful. could have some real dire ramifications for disabled kids

I'm pretty sure the factpost kennedy quote is from 6 mo to a year ago. The news that happened today is that he's taking over the disability education policy that education used to do, which isn't great.
The dismantling of the Department of Education continues apace.
