I’m very glad it wasn’t the heating element that went bad. It has before and that means you have to drain the whole water heater and that’s a pain in the ass. Luckily it was a $20 part that’s easy to swap out. Just gotta keep an eye on it to make sure this isn’t a recurring problem.
