At the Bell Street ribbon cutting, these "sitting boulders" were just touted. I remember very well how these were watered down through the design process because more direct opportunities for street seating would be "misused", per several Belltown neighborhood advocates.
The Wallingford Community Council wants you to know their opposition to allowing apartment buildings in Tangletown and along the Route 31/32 isn't about saying "no" to growth, it's about ensuring "family sized homes."

When the Office of the Waterfront's Bell Street project kicked off, years ago, they put out a survey that showed most Seattleites wanted the street pedestrianized. That didn't happen, but today Katie Wilson is cutting the ribbon and...it's pedestrianized.
