🚨🚨 New Paper alert! 🚨🚨 :

This paper is published as part of a special feature called “Recent Advances in the Conservation of African Mammals”.

Special thanks to the co-authors Luke Dollar, Olivier Rasolofoniaina, Julie Pomerantz, and thinking of Pierrot Rahajanirina.
Free ranging lemurs show significantly lower #Toxoplasma gondii seroprevalence
compared to other primate superfamilies. Seroprevalence in lemurs was lower than expected for their level of terrestriality,
supporting the role of evolutionary history in shaping susceptibility.
The Department of Biology at @eastcarolinauniv.bsky.social seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in evolutionary Biology! Come join us!
