Down in Ardnamurchan last week, and amongst other delights, was looking at the Atlantic oak woods that stretch from Strontian to Glenborrodale along the sides of Loch Sunart, Scotland's rainforest. If you've not been, it's something to put on your to-do list. Pretty spectacular.

It was nice to get out with the camera again at the weekend out west. The greens were looking fresh in this section of Atlantic rainforest. I liked the ivy on this particular oak.
The midges were horrific - they are not supposed to arrive before June.
