Pro-Palestinian activists blocked the entrance to the ILA International Air and Space Show in Berlin hours before Chancellor Merz was scheduled to speak.
The preparations were disrupted by a group called "Against Genocide, Peacefully," with activists staging a sit-in at the entrance to the venue.
Monitoring of the 100-day offensive shows that 3,666 people have been killed, including 247 children and 56 elderly, while 11,321 have been wounded between 2 March and 9 June.
This is all despite a "ceasefire" announced on the night of 16-17 April
