Read an article the other day about Mexico '70. Apparently Alf Ramsey was so traumatised by the "greasy food" he'd experienced as a player in Brazil in 1950 that he had England import all their own provisions. But the Mexican govt objected, citing Foot & Mouth in the UK, and burnt all the meat! 😂
