#ZigHealthTip This is SO IMPORTANT. Take progress pics! I know you may not want to. You may not like your current body, but THAT IS THE POINT. Change is slow. If you see yourself daily, you won't notice it. You'll feel discouraged with lack of progress. But 2 pics 6 months apart will blow your mind!
Another gripe: NOTHING WILL HAPPEN IN A WEEK. You will neither gain significant enough muscle nor lose significant enough fat in such a short span of time. These stupid articles are extra stupid because they play a role in warping expectations of how long body recomposition takes. Be patient.
#ZigHealthTip The exercise in question better be, “Overhauling your nutrition and determining your maintenance caloric needs.” otherwise it’s a big ol load of BS. You CANNOT spot-reduce fat with exercise. And unless you have some rare muscular condition, your stomach is already flat underneath.
This mostly boils down to me being an introvert. My social battery is already extremely small. I try my best, but that’s just how it is. So when every interaction is so emotionally charged 24/7, my battery goes flat and then I just want to disengage. Which is why I say, no ill will, nothing personal
Reminds me of all the self-proclaimed alpha males out there. If you have to loudly tell people how good you are at something, you probably can’t demonstrate it very well.
