NHC has initiated advisories on Potential Tropical Cyclone One (formerly AL90) located over southern Texas. Potential Tropical Cyclone Advisories (PTC Advisories) are issued when there is high confidence that the disturbance will develop into a storm and bring significant impacts.

The UK is set for a week of contrasting weather, with a combination of increasingly warm and humid conditions in the south and east, and more unsettled weather affecting the north and west at times.

Temperatures will be well above average, pushing into the mid 30s (°C) by Monday.
Not only that, but it will also become very humid and muggy, especially in the south during both day and night, meaning it’s likely to feel even hotter than the heatwave we experienced in May 🥵
Temperatures are expected to reach the high 20s Celsius quite widely, with the potential for 32°C to be reached in the south of England on Sunday and potentially even higher temperatures on Monday.
