It’s almost become trite to point out, but if Putin had specifically conscripted Trump to sabotage our foreign policy for Russia (and China)’s geopolitical benefit, Trump would not be doing anything differently.

Trump says he wants Bill Pulte, his incoming, unqualified acting Director of National Intelligence, to begin firing a large number of employees as part of a shake-up of the intel community.
Reminder: Just yesterday, Trump said Pulte won't be in this role permanently.
The president said in an interview the Office of the Director of National Intelligence should be “much smaller” and maybe even terminated.
