This Thracian fibula (ornamental disk) is gilded silver & was part of an equestrian kit. It portrays a maelstrom of violence full of snarling dogs, attacking each other or hunting a ram or being throttled by a man. It’s a stunning but brutal piece

It’s AUSTRIA 🇦🇹. Here is the so-called Venus of Willendorf. It is about 11cm high, carved from limestone & tinted with red ochre. It likely depicts a female deity or other supernatural figure.

It’s BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA 🇧🇦. These are stećak tombstones & are prevalent across Bosnia. They first appear in the C11th but reached their peak in the C14th-15th. The tomb (R) shows horses, warriors and castle fortifications.

It’s AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺. At low tide at Gantheaume Point in Western Australia, you can walk out on the rocks and see these dinosaur footprints preserved perfectly. Remarkable.

One of 6 largest in world and only one w all 4 side towers (eg one pictured here) preserved: they once housed cisterns w perfumed water to feed fountain and spray on spectators. /1
