It looks like Rainbow Six fell in a vat of radioactive MSPaint and came out all lumpy and depressed. It plays like it too. It is shockingly compelling and deep.

Played two Next Fest demos: DekaDuck and Hyper Bun Buster.
DekaDuck is like, MMX + Klonoa + Mischief Makers. Sometimes the artstyle clashes and the performance jitters but the ideas for mechanics fit together very nice. Arguably too nice. I wish it had more 'grunge' or friction to it. (1/2)
