This is a community victory! Thx to the 100s that signed the petition, made calls, + bravely showed up to testify.
None of us are safe 'til all of us are safe, + until then—we keep fighting.
Huge win! 🛡️ Austin passed the TRUST Act to regulate surveillance tech like drones & ALPRs.
Key wins:
✅ Emergency use cut from 120 to 60 days.
✅ Public review doubled to 4 weeks.
✅ Annual transparency reports.
