I'd say Bushido Blade but Hellish Quart kinda seems like it's doing that thing. Therefore, once again, Sword of the Samurai (1989). It has politics, melee combat, dueling, dynastic game progression, a battle system by an obscure guy called Sid Meier!
I've checked Spotify (blegh) and the change has rolled through there, so logic dictates that it probably has everywhere else as well!
