❄Arctic sea ice extent in May was about 4% below average-as reported in latest #C3S Climate Bulletin the 4th-lowest for May on record. In the Antarctic, sea ice extent was about 9% below average, making it seventh-lowest for the month on record. @ecmwf.int @osi-saf.eumetsat.int ⬇️ #CopernicusClimate

đź’§Climate Bulletin notes drier-than-average conditions in much of western&central Europe&in some eastern regions in May. Northwestern continental Europe, TĂĽrkiye & Black Sea region saw wetter-than-average conditions. River flow was below average across much of central, eastern & northeastern Europe.
