Gestern habe ich meine Dissertation „Resisting Normalization: Civil Society Responses to Far-Right Contention" eingereicht. Die Ergebnisse machen tatsächlich ein wenig Mut.
I think we're well beyond "red alert" at this point and falling into a multigenerational setback.
The scientific enterprise is not a switch we can turn on/off. People will retire, young scientists will find other careers, grad students will quit, and undegrads will choose other paths.
Next week: three papers presented across two conferences, all from separate projects. Topics spanning cleavages, civil society, group appeals, interwar elections, & the challenges of text analysis. It's been a helluva month getting all these drafts together, but I'm looking forward to #CES & #EPSS.
