Movies in the Parks is coming to the southwest side! Starting tomorrow night, the city will screen the following movies in our neighborhood parks: 🎸 La Bamba 🌺 Lilo & Stitch 🦊 Zootopia 2 🐢 TMNT ⚾️ The Sandlot 🐣 Un Gallo con Muchos Huevos All movies start at dusk; complete schedule online.

🚨 Emergency tree removal: If you see downed trees or power lines, call your local ward office. Find your ward: www.chicago.gov/city/en/dept... Check on your neighbors, especially if your block has lost power. And take plenty of pictures before removing any debris from your property.

Rise up for Riley 💙 Last night was a powerful statement of solidarity, with hundreds of Chicagoans riding from Palmisano Park in Bridgeport to a die-in on Halsted near where Riley O’Neil was killed. We cannot accept regular, preventable deaths on our streets. No more of this, please 🙏

We were out last night and took some photos at the jam and vigil ride for Riley O'Neil (hosted by @bikegridnow.org), a CDOT employee who spent his life working to make biking safer in Chicago, and was killed in a crash in Bridgeport on Friday June, 5th. Rest in Peace, Riley.
