Now I've got to write another scroll bar, which is good because I can make it nice and wide.
Through the magic of working on this all day the text now appears in the SDL window and I can get rid of the dangerous Windows console window. Routing SDL_Log messages to somewhere else made that part a lot less painful than I had expected.
Mad Dog and Hunchback IIC in the Battletech Animated Series
The text in the console won't change often, and I want it to be fast so instead of drawing each character to the window, I'm writing it to a texture when there's a change, then it's 2 triangles to draw the whole thing. Today went basically like this. Next- to print actual things in the window.

Ancient 4D - Added basic trigonometric functions into my expression parser. The idea being that animation channels could be driven by expressions like this, rather than just the usual graph editor curve editing approach. #gamedev
