While I said I would never live anywhere north of the French River, I would be quite content to retire in Blind River.
Here's some art for any trans friends who would like it. Drop me a message if you'd like the high res emailed to you.

Oh yeah. Northern Ontario has a massive dr shortage and, as a warning, Sudbury has an almost as expensive average rent as Toronto. North Bay's crime severity index is double ours. Thunder Bay is remote if you are OK with that but again doctor issues.
Plzzzzzz
Also me. I do not like haggling.
I will post it and forbidden Jello when they are scanned!
I may dig through my archive CDs to see if I can find my bacteriophage comic, but I fear it may be lost to the sands of time.
Blind River? Delightful little community and the little hospital is nice. I did not have to wait long for a doctor there. If you do not mind being 2 and a half hours from anywhere I recommend it.
But yeah, healthcare deserts are a thing here too.
Depends on where you land. I 100% do not recommend sask or alberta. Rural areas are also hard. I found a family doctor within 3 months of coming to Toronto
