A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for most counties in our viewing area west of I-75, through 11pm Tues Jun 16. A second broken line of storms is still expected to form a few hours behind the round currently over NW Ohio/SE Michigan, and will lose steam as it moves east between 8pm-11pm.
PREDICTOR: Watch for another broken line of storms from the west between 8pm-11pm this evening, then the "rain train" races down the track Wednesday evening (1-2"+) with gusty winds all the while. High wind shear will also keep a tornado threat over us through the first 2 hours of Thursday.
Afternoon timeline cleanse: Lori Riehl found this fawn staring at her among the summer greenery in Portage (Wood County). 🦌

We may have TS Arthur by tomorrow, hugging the Texas Gulf Coast. #tropics
Funny enough, just yesterday my wife and I were talking about Kennywood... I've been to Western PA, but never actually Pittsburgh.
Abigail Mull found this hummingbird at her feeder during a beautiful Lenawee County sunset last week. The sun won't exactly be hard to come by this week, but you'll have to watch for t-showers Tuesday evening -- and a larger cluster of gusty storms Wednesday night.
