I agree. In fact, I think it's defensible that Starfleet Academy is gayer (or at least more queer) than Disco, which 'only' had two human men in monog relationship and a pair of nonbinary kiddos.

I was wondering the same thing - if they still do it. I vividly remember being a Hubble fellow and needing to ask my officemate to endorse me so that I could post a paper in the planets category bc I'd only ever done 'stellar' (brown dwarfs) 🙃
