I see so many autistic people from young children, teens and young adults, and grown-ass adults, who deal with so much trauma associated with the pain of never being accepted. Of never being allowed to be themselves.

I finally watched Heated Rivalry after reading the first 3 books by Rachel Reid (It was my reward for finishing my book edits because I knew I would binge watch) - WOW. It’s rare that I think a screen adaptation is as good as a book (I mean, I’m kinda biased as an author…) but they really nailed it.
Ok so I’m catching up on episodes and this one was so beautiful. Vulnerable and honest and hopeful. So so lovely! ❤️👏
