2/ Putin recognizes there is no place he can flee to except china without being arrested or killed. So he will desperately & ruthlessly cling to power because otherwise he’s a dead man. He’s made too many enemies worldwide.
Putin sees the surrender in Afghanistan as the reason the USSR collapsed.
5/ Putin nuking Ukraine & Trump then nuking Iran solves IN THEIR MINDS otherwise intractable problems for them both.
But a coup that kills Putin maybe stops that nightmare scenario.
Or maybe a preemptive worldwide outcry against the use of nuclear weapons by Russia or the U.S. could stop them 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
3/ In that case Putin may see no alternative but to use a portion of his nuclear arsenal.
He already uses medium range missiles to attack Ukraine. There already is one radioactive exclusion zone at Chernobyl north of Kiev. He could nuke Kiev under the cover of a conventional weapons attack.

The tide is turning against Russia in Ukraine. Soon Russia may be unable to supply its troops in Ukraine. Without supplies Kherson & Crimea may fall.
That would be fatal for Putin.
4/ Unless there is a coup that kills Putin outright and replaces him with someone willing to withdraw from Ukraine we may be facing a nuclear nightmare.
