Meanwhile more details are emerging on how the e-commerce plurilateral group's "interim arrangements" will work. It’ll be outside the WTO, imitating WTO dispute settlement and committee work, with nothing revealed on resources or funding. Also updated

Last night's much delayed conclusion to the Yaoundé Ministerial Conference. Deadlock over how long to extend the moratorium on collecting duties on digital trade (which lapses) and work programmes on WTO reform and agriculture mean only a few décisions were taken. Work continues in Geneva.

Indonesia has circulated a paper at the WTO's Yaoundé Ministerial Conference repeating its claim that the WTO Fisheries Subsidies negotiations (Fish 2) violate the UN Law of the Sea.
Indonesia is one of a handful blocking the 2025 draft for a Fish 2 agreement.
