Something most people wouldn’t think about re: data centers.
I work in distribution. Data centers are absolutely swallowing up material at a ridiculous rate. So much so that we are seeing lead times for basic material jump way up. So it’s affecting all of us.
It’s becoming harder to source items.

I wish ppl understood that if the US government paid for everyone’s health care, it would cause a chain reaction. Like, holy shit, we need new vaccines & better cancer defense bc it’s costing us a fortune. Or we should put a bunch of $$ towards healthier lifestyles bc not doing it costs too much.
