My birthday is 7/4 & have dealt w/faux patriotism my entire 53 years. Flag themed gifts, red white blue cakes, fireworks to entertain. Itโs always felt forced & cultish. The only thing I liked was not working on my birthday for decades. Glad to decouple it this year! Celebrate me instead! ๐คฃ๐คฃ
