As expected, Trump and Iran are describing their pending deal in different ways. Two possibilities for why this is happening: (1) Both sides are dressing it up in the most appealing way possible so they can sell it politically. (2) There are points that haven’t been hashed out yet.
I’m not sure what agreement Trump will strike with Iran, or whether he will even strike one. But I’m reasonably confident in saying that whatever concessions he wrings out of the Iranians, he probably could have gotten before he embarked on this meaningless war of choice.
