ULEZ is a blunt cash grab dressed up as âgreen policyâ. One arbitrary cutoff and suddenly perfectly usable cars are treated like junk unless you pay daily.
CritâAir is far more rational, graded, progressive, and actually based on emissions rather than a lazy pass/fail tax on ordinary drivers.
This is far too generous to universities. They werenât dragged into this mess. They spent years chasing growth,piling on debt,cramming more students onto courses,devaluing degrees & relying on overseas fees.Much of this crisis is the result of their own decisions.
