Courier/logistics insight from the ground
No hot takes. No theory.
Just how it actually works.

I’m in the UK, I’ll be grateful if the train just turns up on time and makes it to its destination🤣
Such a worrying day today.
Thankfully it passed the MOT.

Delivered there a few times over the years, very friendly staff, takes ages to get there in there in 🚚 from the road though🤣

ULEZ is a blunt cash grab dressed up as “green policy”. One arbitrary cutoff and suddenly perfectly usable cars are treated like junk unless you pay daily.
Crit’Air is far more rational, graded, progressive, and actually based on emissions rather than a lazy pass/fail tax on ordinary drivers.
People really should read about France’s Crit Air System and then compare it to ULEZ.
Yep, been happening for years, it has been mentioned several times, but the “progressives” have been denying it happens…

Years of record migration don’t stop having effects just because the graph finally starts pointing down.

This is far too generous to universities. They weren’t dragged into this mess. They spent years chasing growth, piling on debt, cramming more students onto courses, devaluing degrees & relying on overseas fees.Much of this crisis is the result of their own decisions.

The most disgusting behaviour I’ve ever witnessed in public spaces was directed at Sadiq Khan by ‘anti-Ulez’ protesters, who of course received way more coverage, much of it friendly, than the scheme’s incredible success ever will.

One of our great triumphs and economic advantages is fading away
It is quite strange to listen to political coverage currently, even from mainstream sources, and remember that net migration has quartered since its peak, and is likely to fall to Cameron's tens of thousands target next year and this has made no difference to the discourse.
