There are multiple “points” of through-running, but getting from one side of the city to another is a minor one. Getting access to multiple CBD and near-CBD destinations from any given stop is a much bigger one, and the commuter tunnel does that very well!

This whole mapping tool could’ve been avoided by learning Tobler’s first law of geography: “everything is related to everything else, but near things are more related than distant things”
AFAIK they never actually use the religious legal argument because it rarely gets there – the city just looks the other way and that’s that. Easier for everybody I guess, saves on legal fees.
