i CAN write not from beginning to end but it's just not as fun for me
finishing writing a story is like an orgasm for me ngl im always chasing that high
honestly this is why i can only write linearly, i have to make myself go through the story from beginning to end bc that makes writing the end/payoff worth it. i love finishing lol. and the other upside to this is that it can make writing the tenser parts at the end more fun too

anyway it took me 4 days to write this thing but my word count spread was 5000 (day 1) 8000 (day 2) 3000 (day 3) 6000 (day 4). on day 3 i was so in my head about it but i was like chillax and just write these scenes. and then on day 4 i was like i can totally finish writing this today and then i did
