Her followers love this. They always have. Her inarticulacy is a plus in their eyes, a sign of her authenticity, and when others mock it, they themselves feel mocked, thus reinforcing their sense of grievance.
And grievance is the life-blood of the far right.
If journalists don't stand up for each other when we're attacked by politicians, we're going to get picked off one by one.
