I don't know how to explain to otherwise smart people that guardrails are just more prompts and prompts are just context and context can (and is often) just ignored.
Do not give an LLM access to your systems. FFS.
was literally just talking about how crazy taxi was a great game like two days ago.
Saw this: thought: hell yeah!
Saw the AI disclosure: ah. well. I guess not then.
The original still exists and is still good, I will find a way to play that instead.
"increased share availability"
this just means that the big investors who have actually read the disclosure docs are like: haha! fuck no.
They need the retail investors to hold the bag. (including the index funds that would pick up the stock automatically)
This looks rad! (also I know these devs, and they are also rad, so I know this will be rad)

Oooh, a new Crazy Taxi.
What's that on the Steam Page?
And AI disclosure?
FUCK THAT!

This is absolutely nuts: hackers are hijacking high-profile Instagram accounts by simply asking Meta's AI chatbot to change the email on the account. Meta's AI does it, hacker gets password reset code, they're in. A staggering security issue

The exploit shows the extreme risk of offloading technical support to AI.
Agreed! and I can already run locally on decent hardware, but it still has the same issue as big AI: it sucks shit.
one shot queries with followup can be good, but as soon as you 'agentic' anything it goes off the rails and you spend more time fixing/checking it than it takes to do it yourself

possibly they see the writing on the wall, that all those data centres are not gonna get built and are trying to hedge their bets.
