otome and gacha aside, i started dipping more into other games recently, namely:
story of seasons: a wonderful life - was interested in the gamecube ver but was getting tired of playing a dude then lol. awesome getting to choose they/them for my pronouns. only a few hours in but it feels very kind
let's play oink games - a recent project got me wanting to give board games a shot again, so naturally i got a video game compilation of a set of board games. great excuse to get friends together to play tho, esp w/ the app (wish clubhouse games had that). moon adventure is on my shitlist

ufo 50 - had my eye on it on release but wanted it on handheld. didn't realize the switch ver came out on my bday last year but i finally got it w/ the recent sale. still trying out the games but my god i love party house. i'm gonna kick wild buddy's ass. i want to like mortol more but i'm bad at it
next up... keeping in mind sins of kaleido in july and over requiemz in august, i think i'll concentrate more on fds or lighter games to balance those out, so prolly birushana fd next. will i ever go back to homura? let's not talk about that
LI ranking:
olivier > mel > emmanuel >= ismail
the later routes + tbh olivier (cv okitsu 👌) carry the game. they did ismail ridiculously dirty, he has so much less screen time than the others that it's hard for me to rank him higher. i liked fiena a decent bit and think she fits into the story well

it's a shorter game, like around 25 hours on full auto? it spends a lot of time on lore and worldbuilding, but goes way too fast w/ the romance for most routes. for a game that has 3 of its LIs as childhood friends, i wish there were more interactions too. the short stories go a long way for that
done w/ volontes. overall i enjoyed it, esp how it didn't hold back on the bittersweet vibe, but man it needed some polish. i didn't expect amazing production value, but i was disappointed by the loc (coulda used better qa) and the mechanical issues like auto or skip randomly stopping
