Thank you to everyone in Swansea who took part in this process. As the consultation ends and the time for action arrives, I will make sure your voice is heard loud and clear. Nothing is more important than the safety and future of our children. swanseabaynews.com/social-media...

I’m going for a long jog tomorrow morning. That was a lot of chips…
You don’t “challenge power & wealth” by celebrating Clegg/Cameron’s demolition of public services, before turning to performative leftism when it’s convenient. You do it with Labour actually taxing wealth, boosting workers rights & rescuing the NHS those workers rely on. Lots done, lots more to do
Charlatan politicians + their media want to convince people that nothing can improve. But: 1) last month low paid workers got sick pay for the 1st time 2) NHS waiting lists have seen the fastest fall on 17 years 3) capital gains, inheritance and dividend tax rises are enabling the rescue of the NHS

Today is not just any Friday. It's National Fish and Chip Day. The big question is: where does them best in Swansea?
Brilliant to meet so many people at the latest of my regular coffee mornings in Sketty. Thank you to everyone who came along 🙏
Best not to lie. Labour: - created the minimum wage - is raising the minimum wage - is equalising wage rates What we didn’t do was cheerlead for Tory austerity and the coalition government’s attempts to role back workers rights from the Lib Dem conference floor
It was great to hear views about the challenges facing Swansea + the best bits about living here: unbeatable natural surroundings, community and culture. I’ll keep working to make sure we tackle the problems our communities face and protect the things that make us proud.

With incredible community spirit, unbeatable views and the brilliant Phoenix Centre, residents of Townhill and Mayhill have so much to be proud of. Great to see positive coverage of an area that should never have been defined by the behaviour of few. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Swansea West MP Torsten Bell says he has found an "overwhelming consensus for action" on children and social media as the UK Government consultation closes

SOCIAL MEDIA: 'Swansea backs a ban' says MP Torsten Bell as survey finds strong local support for child age limits - Swansea Bay News
Yes Torsten. Workers round this country (and their unions) really feel like Labour have their back.... Time to tax wealth, lower bills and tackle inequality. Labour exists to protect power and wealth. Greens will always challenge it.

"You do it with Labour actually taxing wealth, boosting workers rights & rescuing the NHS those workers rely on." You're not doing any of those things! I'm starting to worry about the sanity of Labour MPs, because you seem to believe things that are *very obviously* not true.
When Blair and his tech billionaires come with demands to pay workers less, the Labour government caves in 48 hours Workers rights are not rights at all unless applied to one and all. Pay all workers the same rate for the same job. Now.
