Thanks to a collaborative multi-partner effort, the Spokane River Basin is getting cleaner — but there’s still work to be done. This exciting new grant program invests $595,000 in Spokane watershed communities helping continue their momentum to address emerging contaminants like PFAS.
I recently narrated the story of the Duwamish River cleanup in a new documentary series, 'Seattle: A History in Short Stories.' The Duwamish River is at the heart of Seattle, and I was proud to help tell the history of that area and the work that’s being done to restore it.
