Thinking about this A LOT since yesterday's No Kings protest I participated in, and seeing white **women**:
-driving alone in their cars
-maybe with a loan they are allowed to have
-with a drivers' license
-paid by their own job
-from a bank accout
...flip off a bunch of libs and lefties.
Inane.
Anti-Indian racism is a real concern in Canada, and it's also baffling on multiple levels. We've had a large Indian population for generations, yet Indian people are associated with immigration. India has a rich mosaic of cultures vastly predating Europe but is considered an uncivilized monolith.

It's true, and it SHOULD be pointed out. We Canadians can't keep going on about how bad the USA is being with immigrants, then literally spout/or excuse the same rhetoric being said about people who immigrated from India to Canada.

So many of our social and political problems boil down to people being unable to relate the same way toward people who look different from them as they do toward those who do look like them. It's often subconscious, too. It's a mental block that people need to dismantle before anything else.
One of my favorite things about Canada is that so many people from different walks of life all share the same home, I can walk to get a shwarma or some Indian food and I can feel the love they have for being here and the community, idk how people can hate on that
The racist culture that oozes from the Trump administration isn’t at all just white men. We see elected and appointment women, media hosts, voters who proudly hold their part in it.
That isn’t new. We credit women the women who oppose racism, so why would we infantilize the women who advocate it?
