Oddly enough, my older brother and I both took different dates to see the same Pixar movie on multiple occasions. He took 2 different women to see The Incredibles a few weeks apart, while I took 2 different women to see Finding Nemo 10 years apart (the second one was an anniversary re-release).
I definitely write different characters differently, but it's more of a vibe-based thing. Like, "This feels like something this character would say" (or how they'd say it) versus any actual, technical specifications.
