I'm so excited that we at Stonewall have voted to endorse Kobey Layne! I trust Kobey to protect queer and trans people, both socially and economically. She'd never use trans lives as bargaining chips, unlike Sen Klobuchar who voted for two separate transphobic bills that passed into federal law.
The 2025 National Defense Authorization Act banned TRICARE from providing trans healthcare to people under 18, and the 2026 NDAA banned trans women from women's sports in military academies. Senator Klobuchar voted for both.
