🪵 2026/06/13 When drilling yesterday the anvil kept sliding out of position every time the bit would catch a little. I'm making a skid pad for it to rest on by rubber cementing some bicycle inner tube onto a piece of scrap wood. This is still not advisable work holding, to be clear.

You can see why I don't like doing this sort of thing inside the tent. I never would've finished this hole trying to drill it outside in the hundred degree heat though. And I need to go out there to measure for the other ones… So I guess I'm done for today. 😅
